Junior Achievement (JA) is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.
Members of the CB Group are proud members of the Executive and Operations Board and actively embrace the JA Biz Town initiative – a Ministry of Education endorsed-programme designed to develop the business IQ of students at the grade five level while improving their performance on standardized tests.
JA Biz Town simulates the operations of real town and cities. Children who participate are given the opportunity to take charge and manage companies, pay bills, vote in elections and conduct numerous financial transactions.
Since 2015, the curriculum has been taught to over 10,000 students giving them practical experience in customer service, safe foods and hatchery.
